Bihar government will reinstate a large number of doctors and other posts, preparing to deal with the third wave of corona

 The Bihar government has started preparing to deal with the third wave of Corona. Special care is being taken regarding children. Efforts are on to increase the number of beds in Piku wards. Soon a large number of doctors will also be reinstated.


According to Hindustan newspaper, the state's Health Minister Mangal Pandey told that preparations have been completed to deal with the third wave of Corona. Special arrangements are being made for the children. The infrastructure of Piku ward is being improved. The central government has made plans for Piku ward, which will further improve it. Work is being done on that too.

The Health Minister said that 3000 doctors will soon be reinstated in Bihar. This appointment will be done within 15 to 20 days. Told that 25000 GNMs have been appointed recently. Now there will be 18,000 appointments from the NHM (National Health Mission) and the government. In which about 10 thousand permanent appointments are to be made.

 

 

Regarding the corona vaccination in the state, the Health Minister said that the target of 6 crore vaccinations will be accomplished in six months. Preparations are also being made to provide advanced life support system ambulances in all the blocks within three months. Keeping in mind the Corona crisis, the Health Department is busy in all preparations. He said that about 3.5 crore vaccinations have been done in the state.

Significantly, due to a continuous decline in the number of corona infected in the state, now it has been reduced to single digits. A total of nine new infected were found in Bihar on Tuesday. Corona was found infected in only six districts while not a single corona infected has been found in 32 districts.

Of the districts where new corona infections have been found, the maximum three infected have been found in Patna district. Apart from this, two infected were found in Rohtas district, one each in Darbhanga, Jamui, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur districts. Now 101 active cases of corona have been found in the state. The recovery rate is now 98.63 percent. Here on Tuesday, a total of one lakh 55 doses of vaccine were given in the state.
