Some Self-help Groups are Creating Miraculous Impact in Hardly-hit Patna

Patna, 25th April: There is no oximeter available, let alone the oxygen cylinder, a situation of havoc is everywhere. The plight of the attendants of Covid sufferers is worse than all the miseries put together. There may be NGOs in thousand numbers, but in the name of helping the hapless citizens of Bihar, there is hardly any NGO, you can repose trust. The hospitals are discharging patients for lack of oxygen cylinders.

However, there is silver lining in these clouds as well. Some help groups have come forward to extend help to the sufferers.

“I have saved around 250 lives in this pandemic. I feel myself privileged for the almighty has chosen me in the presence of millions to help those who need it the most. We have a group of half a dozen boys. We are doing our utmost. We will keep on doing our best,”said Krishna of Abhimanyu fame.

According to Mr. Rakesh, his team comprises Raja Ravi, former Student Leader, Patna University, social worker Semu, AnandG and several others.

One Rakesh Rayjada of Team RAGA , while interacting with Ashish Jha, said, “The kind of satisfaction that I draw helping people across the length and breadth of Patna is quite heartening. Though it is quite heartening that my effort has saved almost 37  lives, but I also regret that I could not save as many as 17 lives.”

He further added, "I can manage hospital bed in two hours and oxygen cylinder in just one hour." in the night time, I manage food for 100 people."
