World famous Pashupatinath temple opens after 9 months, entry on these conditions

 

Nepal's world famous Pashupati Nath temple was closed for the last 9 months but now following the health safety protocol, devotees have been allowed to pray inside the temple

The doors of the world famous Pashupatinath temple located in Kathmandu, Nepal have been reopened. According to the Pashupati Area Development Trust, the temple was closed under a protocol keeping in view the increasing cases of infection during the Corona period and keeping in mind the safety of the people. However, now the temple has been reopened.

The world famous Pashupatinath temple of Nepal was closed for the last 9 months. According to Samhita Shastri Guru Arjun Prasad Bastola, senior trustee of the temple trust, the devotees have been allowed to pray inside the temple, following the health safety protocol. However, devotees coming to the temple to visit Lord Pashupatinath have been advised to take necessary precautions in view of Coronavirus and follow the rules.

Bhajan-Kirtan not allowed

He further said that only the temple has been opened now but mass bhajan-kirtan and special worship has not been allowed. Although all these things will be resumed in view of the condition of corono infection, it will be necessary for all the devotees coming to the temple to wear masks. Apart from this, devotees will also have to maintain a distance of 2 meters. Sanitizer has also been arranged in the temple.
