US President Donald Trump conferred 'Legion of Merit' on Prime Minister Narendra Modi

 

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has been awarded 'Legion of Merit' by US President Donald Trump. Indian Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu has accepted this award on behalf of the Prime Minister.


US President Donald Trump on Monday honored the Prime Minister of India with 'Legion of Merit'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with this award for increasing the strategic partnership of the two countries and for the rise of India as a global power.

India's Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu accepted the award from American National Security Adviser Robert O'Briana on behalf of Narendra Modi. US National Security Adviser Robert O'Briana tweeted and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Modi has done very well for the strategic partnership of the two countries. Due to which he is being awarded the Legion of Merit.

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was presented with the commander of the highest degree of the Legion, which is given only to the head of state or government.

Along with this, former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has also been honored. All these awards were accepted by the ambassadors.
