IND vs AUS, Adelaide Test Result: Team India has faced a very difficult defeat in their first day night match played on foreign soil. Being all out for 36 runs has hurt the confidence of Team India very badly.
India had scored 244 runs in the first innings. His bowlers performed brilliantly and heaped Australia for 191 runs in the first innings. The Indian team came out with a lead of 53 runs in the second innings, but their batsmen were very disappointed on the third day and the visiting team could score only 36 runs in the second innings.
Mohammad Shami retired retired due to which the Indian innings was ended at 36 for nine. This is India's lowest score in an innings in Tests. Due to this, Australia got the target of 90 runs which they easily achieved.
Matthew Wade (33) was run out. Marnus Labushan (6) was dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin. Joey Burns remained unbeaten on 51 off 63 balls with seven fours and a six. Steve Smith returned unbeaten on one run.
Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins were instrumental in putting India on 36 runs in the second innings. Hazlewood took five wickets and Cummins took four.
This was captain Virat Kohli's last Test in this series. Now he will return home for the birth of his first child.
