Munaf Patel to play in Lanka Premier League, signed with this team

 

Munaf has tied up with Candy Tuskers Club. Apart from this, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan and veteran West Indies opener Chris Gayle will also be seen playing for the same franchise.

Fast bowler Munaf Patel, who was a member of the Indian team that won the ICC World Cup in 2011, will be seen playing in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) starting on 26 November. Munaf has tied up with Candy Tuskers Club. Apart from this, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan and veteran West Indies opener Chris Gayle will also be seen playing for the same franchise.

Candy Tuskers have included Munaf and former Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanvir in the squad in place of Wahab Riaz and Liam Plunkett. It is worth mentioning that the Indian fantasy sports platform My 11 Circle will be the title sponsor of the first edition of LPL.
