Navy's strength will increase, INS Kavaratti not included in radar will be included in Indian Navy today

 

This will increase the strength of the Navy due to not being in the grip of radar.

Kavaratti will be the 104th vessel built by GRSE. 90 percent of it is indigenously built.

The Navy's anti-submarine warship INS Kavaratti will be added to the Indian Navy's fleet today. The specialty of this warship is that it does not fall under the radar. The 'Kavaratti' is the last of the four anti submarine warships built by GRSE for the Indian Navy under Project P28.

Apart from this, the Navy has three more such warships. Kavaratti will be the 104th vessel built by GRSE. 90 percent of it is indigenously built and with the help of new technology, its need for maintenance will also be reduced. Defense sources said that the vessel will also operate in the event of nuclear, chemical and biological warfare.
