Tejashvi will not Resign-Lalu

Patna: The 'Gump' created for the Presidential election in the Maha coalition of Bihar Government has become more difficult over the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Tejashvi Prasad Yadav, against whom an FIR has been lodged by the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Meanwhile, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, while speaking to the media, said clearly that his son Tejashvi will not resign, as his name has been dragged in trumped-up charges. He further added that as far as the properties of my and my children are concerned, all the information is already in the public domain.

War of Words between RJD & JDU
On Friday, JDU said that if RJD shows its muscles for having 80 MLAs, it should also recall the number of seats that it had in 2010 election. The number of seats is of the coalition, and not the party. We all asked vote for every single constituency and the number is the sum total of the efforts of all the ruling coalition. The spokesman of JDU also said that we have not come to power to rule, rather to serve the people. It will not take more than 5  minutes to resign, we have a long history that shows our conviction, not the greed to remain in power, by any possible means.

What the Charges are
The case against Lalu and his family is of the year 2004, when he was the railway minister. It is alleged that he was given a license to build two railway hotels for a private company and for this he was given three acres of land in Patna. While JD (U) is determined of 'zero tolerance' on corruption and hence asks resignation of Tejashvi Yadav, RJD keeps on harping on the more number of MLAs that it has.
Nitish Kumar's image is Spotless
Niraj Kumar, spokesperson of JD (U), says, "The image of party president Nitish Kumar is unimaginable due to Zero Tolerance's policy on morality and corruption. There can be no compromise regarding this." He clarified that JD (U) is demanding only the allegations leveled against his colleague for corruption. In such a situation, it is not right to show the fear of 'Babbar Lion' of the numerical group. The mandate has been received on the face of Nitish itself.

By the way, the political image of Nitish is spotless, whereas his family has been paramount in the political decisions of RJD President Lalu Prasad. Nitish has also given an example of the resignation of himself on the Gaisal Rail Accident when he was the central railway minister. He had also asked resignation from Jitan Ram Manjhi and Ramanand Singh.

Anything possible in politics

Political savvy and senior journalist of Patna Surendra Kishore also believes that the 'knot' has become stronger in the ruling coalition, but nothing is impossible in politics. He however said that in today's situation everyone's eyes rest on Nitish Kumar. He said that in the present circumstances, many leaders of the coalition partners of the main coalition are considered as unbreakable, but the situation has reached to a very delicate period.

CBI Wants to Re-start the Bofors Probe

The Bofors scandal, known as the biggest 'stain' on the Congress side, can once again create problems for the party. CBI is going to ask for permission from the Central Government to resume investigation of the Bofors cannon deal. The CBI is going to do this on the directives of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament (PAC). BJD leader Bhatrhari Mahtab, who was investigating the pending reports of the CAG, on Thursday asked CBI Director Alok Verma to investigate the allegations of 'systematic failures' and 'bribe' of Bofors deal.

On Thursday, the other members of the sub-committee including Mahat and BJP leader Nishikant Dubey asked the CBI to go to the Supreme Court against the order of the Delhi High Court of 2005, which had been dismissed in the Bofors case. It is being told that during this time BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said that if the charges against the BJP leaders in the Babri demolition case can be re-decided, then why can not it be so in the case of Bofors?

When the CBI director told the sub-committee that the agency would have to seek the direction from the central government in this regard, then Mahatbat said that the agency should only do its job and leave the verdict on the Central Government. On this, Verma said that he will be present in front of the committee within two weeks.

Apart from this, it is being told that Defense Secretary Sanjay Mitra, who appeared before the sub-committee, told the panel that the necessary files related to the CAG are missing. The MPs expressed surprise over it and said that if the original documents were given to investigating agencies, its photocopies should have been kept for the record.

However, the case is not completely dead as it was mentioned in December, 2016 in the Supreme Court, when the CBI had told that the then UPA government at the Center did not allow it to file an appeal. Please tell that this sub-committee of PAC is investigating the Bofors deal not to follow certain aspects of CAG's report in 1986.

It is noteworthy that due to the Bofors cannon deal, the country's politics in the 1980s had come under attack. In 1989, the Congress had to lose power due to it. In the case, the alleged Italian businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi has been surrounded by close questions from the Gandhi family.

India's Military Might is much more than what China thinks

The military might of India seems to be looked upon by China with jaundiced eyes. Through the military exercise of Malabar, India has shown its strength to China with the United States and Japan. Today there is an international news that will break the illusions of China about India's strength. The illusion that China threatens India and it says that its military strength is nothing in front of China, two International Nuclear Experts have reported in one of its reports that the entire territory of China is in the range of Indian missiles.

What had happened in 1962
Importantly, the report has come at a time when China has reminded India of 1962. The strategic experts believe that this war was a stab on the back of India as the then Prime Minister Pandit  Jawahar Lal Nehru had extended full support to China giving the slogan “Hindi-Cheeni Bhai Bhai Bhai”(Indians and Chinese are brothers). Prime Minister of China Chou-en-Li had just visited India and in a goodwill gesture, Nehru has showed him the military bases. But, China attacked with its full military might in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In comparison with the 4 lakhs army, the total number of Indian army was only 20,000. China cowardice act made it victor.

India’s military might has grown exponentially
Since the year 1962, the military might of India has grown exponentially. Be it army or its weapons, India has been able to make its presence felt worldwide. It is now able to make indigenous nuclear missile. It is making nuclear weapon carrying missile Surya that will have the range of 10,000 kilometer. Even its Agni-4 missile is capable of targeting every city of China from north-east through the Agni-4 missile.

What does the International Report Say

This report, printed in an American online magazine, specifically refers to India's nuclear power and nuclear power-related missiles, in which two nuclear experts Hans M Kristensen and Robert S Norris have written:

India has Plutonium with the ability to make 150 to 200 nuclei weapons.
However, now 120 to 130 nuclear weapons are with India.
India's nuclear strategy is particularly focused on Pakistan.
But now India's focus is constantly moving towards China.
India has a defense system equipped with seven nuclear power capacity.
There are two air, four land and one sea base ballistic missile system.

In this international report it was claimed that India is working on at least four such missile systems, which it is likely to be deployed in the next ten years after looking at China. Considering the strength of India's missiles, this report said that India has an Agni-II missile, which can go to the target of 2,000 kilometers with nuclear weapons. In which the whole region of China's western, central and south areas can come in the target.

The Agni-4 missile can target almost every Chinese city from the north-east, including Beijing and Shanghai. But now India is developing such strength. With that, it will have the ability to target any city in China from any of its base in Central India and South India.

Army Gets more Financial Muscle

In the wake of increasing dual challenges on the border, both from Pakistan and China, the government has started its preparations to compete with if and when the limited war conditions become imminent. In a quest to make army more equipped and capable, the Government has given the chief of the army the financial right to procure the military equipments of up to 40 thousand crores directly. With this financial might, now the army headquarters will be able to purchase weapons and ammunition of 40 thousand crore for its military preparedness, whenever needed, without the approval of the defense minister and cabinet.

According to sources, in the past few years, the Central Government has improved the condition of the minimum War Wastage Reserve. Emphasis has been laid out on the availability of necessary weapons and ammunition for at least 40-day battle at a time.
According to defense sources, since the surgical strike in September 2016, the army has purchased arms and ammunition of nearly 12 thousand crores so far. Sources reveal that the notification has alsready been issued in this regard.

After the terrorist attack in Dartsal, Uri, the issue of preparedness was a big issue in the high level talk between the Government and military top  brass. After this, the government had given emergency power of the sub-heads to 12 thousand crores to buy important weapons and ammunition. By March this year, the Army spent 19 million rupees and made 19 defense deals and purchased important gunpowder. Out of these, 11 deals were made for ammunition.

Army has about 46 types of important weapons. There are 10 types of weapon parts. While there are 20 types of ammunition and mines. It contains ammunition attached to the artillery and tank. The army prepares for 40 days of battle in any situation at all times.

In 2012, the then Army Chief General VK Singh had written letter to then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressing concern for not having a 40-day war reserve. However, there was so much hullabaloo as the letter leaked.

JDU Gives four-day Ultimatum to RJD

Patna: On the matter of the resignation of the deputy chief minister of the Railway scam, Rashtriya Jadav has stuck between RJD and JDU. Political has soared in Bihar since the raids of the CBI. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who broke the silence on this issue, has issued ultimatum to his deputy asking to clear his stand within four days. However, in a RJD meeting held on Monday it was decided that Tejashvi will not resign.

On Tuesday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has once again put the political ball in Lalu's court. After yesterday's JDU meeting, Nitish Kumar made it clear that corruption will not be tolerated at all, no matter who the person is. The JDU has given Lalu Prasad four-day ultimatum to take action on Tejasvi.

The Charges are not on JDU
Reportedly, Nitish Kumar in JDU meeting said that since Tejashv does not belong to his party, it is up to the party to decide to which he belongs to. If the JDU remains firm on Tejashvi and does not ask his resignation and CBI files chargesheet against Tejashvi, Nitish will have to take decision as he is the person, known for not compromising on corruption.

The Options Available before Nitish
There seems to be three options available before the chief minister of Bihar. Firstly, he may ask Lalu to ask Tejashvi to resign, which keeping the coalition intact. Secondly, he may sack his deputy and send a strong message to Lalu and if Lalu breaks the alliance, he recommends dissolution of the house and opt for fresh mandate. Thirdly, he may himself ask Tejashvi to resign, breaks the coalition and join hands with the BJP.

Grand Alliance will Continue---RJD

RJD leaders have also said that the coalition is strong and we will not allow it to break. Senior party leaders believe that since there is already tainted minister in the Union cabinet, the opposition has no right to ask his leader’s resignation. Senior party leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh reiterated that there is no any unrest within the alliance and it is solid like mountain. He also said that BJP may try everything it can, it will gain nothing and the people of Bihar are with the alliance.

Will Nitish continue with his zero tolerance on Corruption policy?

Today is a big day for the future of the grand alliance in Bihar. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has started the meeting of party MLAs, MPs and district officials. This big meeting is going on after the CBI raids in the Bihar government led by RJD chief Lalu Yadav and Deputy CM Taskhish Yadav. Everyone's eyes is rests on the future of the alliance.

No compromise with corruption
Prior to the meeting, close to Nitish Kumar, Sanjay Jha said that Nitish has always adopted Zero Tolerance on Corruption Policy in his political life; Nitish has never compromised with this policy. He said that no further agreement will be made with this policy, no matter who the person is.

RJD’s meeting on Monday
Earlier on Monday, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had convened a meeting of RJD legislators. It was decided in this meeting that the stunning Yadav will not resign. The meeting was also discussed about the presidential elections. The current situation in the country was discussed.

Nitish Kumar returned from Rajgir 4 days later on Sunday. But due to the bad health of Nitish Kumar, the Public Dialogue program to be held on Monday was postponed. On returning to Bihar from Rajgir, the Information and Public Relations Department of Bihar issued a press release stating that due to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar being unfit due to the fever, the Public Dialogue program to be held on July 10,  was postponed.

After the allegations of corruption on Lalu Yadav and the action of CBI and ED on them, the JD(U)-RJD-Congress alliance has seemed to appear in danger. Among the speculations, on Monday, senior JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav defended Lalu Prasad. He told the reporters that the CBI raids on Lalu and his family is part of vendetta politics by the ruling NDA.

After the CBI files chargesheet against Tejashvi Yadav, Nitish Kumar will be obliged to decide the fate of his deputy.

BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has said that after RJD’s decision that it will not ask Tejashvi to resign, the only option that is available with Nitish is to sack Tejashvi. He said that Nitish Kumar spoke of Zero Tolerance against corruption. Nitishji had himself said that there cannot be any tainted minister in his cabinet and either he will be in Bihar or the corrupt.

Nitish Kumar had resigned after the Rail Accident and corruption defeat in Lok Sabha elections on the moral ground. As a result, Sushil Modi asked the Chief Minister, 'Will he take a decision on the basis of ethics and dare to sack his deputy?'

US Rear Admiral WD said that in this maneuvers 75 aircraft have joined. Hopefully the maritime nations will be watching this maneuvers.

In this year's practice, a large number of airports, naval naval submarines and naval ships were included in the three countries. This practice is taking place at a time when there has been a major military standoff between the forces of India and China in the Sikkim region and Beijing is increasing its naval presence in the South China Sea. The aim of the Malabar military exercise is to establish a deep military relationship between the three naval navies in the strategically important Indian Pacific region.

India and America have been doing regular practice since 1992. Beijing Malabar sees the purpose of the practice as suspicion because he feels that this practice is an attempt to curb its influence in the Indian Pacific region. This exercise will include activities like marine patrol and recon campaign, surface and anti-submarine warfare. This will include medical campaigns, loss control, special force expedition, explosive ordnance disposal and helicopter campaigns.

This exercise will last from July 10 to July 17. This maneuver includes the Navy of Indo-US-Japan. From the Chennai coast to the Gulf of Bengal, this will be the maneuvers, including 20 warships, dozens of fighter jets, 2 submarines, reconnaissance aircraft.

The biggest attraction of this exercise from India will be the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya, after joining the navy in 2013, INS Vikramaditya, equipped with MiG-29 fighter jets, is joining for the first time in this kind of full military exercise.
