CBI Files an FIR against Lalu Family, Prepares Seizure Report

The entire family of RJD chief Lalu Yadav is seen in the new trouble in Bihar's power. Lalu Yadav is accused of having made big financial irregularities while being the Railway Minister. In this case, besides the RJD supremo, his wife Rabri Devi, the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and his son Tejashvi Yadav, four other people have been named. While registering a new case of corruption in the case on Thursday, the CBI raided 12 places in Patna, Ranchi, Gururgram and Bhubaneswar, including the residence of Rabri Devi at 10 Circular Road in Patna.

CBI files open letter for Lalu's 'corruption'
According to the CBI FIR, the issue of this case goes up to the decision of the then NDA government in 2001 when it decided to hand over the management of catering services of railway hotels to IRCTC. In the year 2001, the Railway Board decided that the catering service and Hotel BNR in Ranchi and Puri will be operated from Indian Railways to IRCTC. Soon after, when Lalu became the railway minister in 2004, he allegedly plotted criminal conspiracy in collusion with Sarla Gupta and IRCTC officials, wife of Malik Harsh and Vinay Kochhar, Lalu Yadav's close aide PC Gupta and IRCTC officials. These people formed a complete plan to get rights on hotels hatching a criminal conspiracy.

Only Rs 1.5 crore worth of prized land
According to the CBI, under this conspiracy, Vinay Kochhar sold three acres of prime land in Patna on February 25, 2005 for sale of 1.47 crore, which was much lower than the Circle rate. It is said in the FIR that the owner of this company was Premchand Gupta's wife, Sarla Gupta, but from the year 2014 onwards, the member of Lalu Prasad’s family became its owner.

Irregularities in the tender of IRCTC
The CBI alleged that on the day of the deal, the Railway Board announced to hand over BNR Hotel to IRCTC and then the management of both the hotels was handed over to the company of Kochar brothers. The tender that was taken for it was also wrong and conspiracy was made in it. According to the CBI, in this case, the then managing director of IRCTC PK Goyal also allegedly rigged.

The Central Investigation Agency has alleged that the terms of the tender were altered so that Sujata Hotel could be made the sole claimant for this tender. Here, more than 15 tender documents were received for both the hotels, but there is no record of any other company except Sujata Hotel.

Lalu's family got the advantage
According to the CBI, Lalu has been monitoring the tender process as a railway minister. The CBI claimed that between 2010 and 2014, the proprietary rights of Delight Marketing also went to Sarla Gupta in the hands of Lara Projects, which is owned by Rabri Devi and Tejashvi Yadav.

FIR said that Lalu was not a railway minister during this deal. At that time, the cost of that land of Patna also increased to Rs 32.5 crore according to the Circle Rate. The CBI alleged that members of PC Gupta's family transferred the shares of Net worth to the family of Rs 32.5 crore, to the family of Lalu Prasad Yadav at a nominal price of just Rs 65 lakh.

Who are the accused
The CBI has registered a case against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Taskhali Prasad Yadav, Sarla Gupta, Vijay Kochhar, Vinay Kochhar, Lara Projects and former Director General of IRCTC PK Goyal, in the matter of Section 420 (fraud) against IPC, 120B (common conspiracy i.e. Common Conspiracy), FIR has been registered under sections 13 (2) and 13 (1) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (PC Act).

CBI Raids 12 bases of Lalu and his Family, Nitish calls Emergency Meeting

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against RJD chief and former chief minister of Bihar, Mr Laloo Prasad Yadad, his wife and their sons. The CBI today raided the 12 bases of Lalu and his close friends in Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Puri and Gururgram.

According to the news agency ANI, in the year 2006, the then Railway Minister Laloo Yadav, made massive mismanagement of fund in the tender of a hotel being made by the Rail Ministery at Ranchi and Puri.
Nitish Calls Emergency Meeting
Following the raid on Lalu's bases, Bihar's atmosphere became so tense that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had to convene an emergency meeting of senior bureaucrats.

CM Nitish Kumar, Chief Secretaries Anjani Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary Home Amir Subhani and State DGP PK Thakur were present in this meeting. The police headquarters have also been ordered to be alert so any violence could be prevented to take place.
BJP is doing Vendetta Politics: Laloo

Laloo Yadav has accused the ruling party of doing vendetta politics. Accusing the BJP he indignantly said, “it is all the preparation of 2019 general election”. I have been chosen by the party top brass to punish for speaking against the BJP and RSS. He also reiterated, “I have done all works as per the rules and regulations and so there is nothing I should be fear about.”

India wins series, defeats West Indies by 8 wickets

Jamaica: In the last match of the five-match series, India defeated the West Indies by eight wickets to take the series 3-1. After winning the toss, the West Indies made 205 runs in 50 overs losing nine wickets.

In reply, India lost two wickets in the 37th over and reached the target of 206 runs. India's highest run-getter was Virat Kohli. He scored a superb unbeaten century, scoring 111 runs in 115 balls with the help of 12 fours and two sixes. Dinesh Karthik scored an unbeaten 50 in 52 balls with 4 fours.

The Indian team, chasing 206 runs, was not looking good at the start. India had already choked in the form of opener Shikhar Dhawan in the over. Dhawan made four runs in three balls. Rahane scored 39 runs in 51 balls, at that time India's score was 84 runs. After this Kohli and Karthik came to bat and played and won the game.

The Caribbean team, trailing 1-2 in the series, chose the bat first before winning the toss, although losing nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs could have scored 205 runs. The start of the West Indies was very slow, which did not get any further after the dismissal of opener Avin Lewis (9) on the second ball of the ninth over.

Indian bowlers kept the Caribbean batsmen in the dock from start to finish and did not let the shot open. The whole Caribbean team could only have taken three sixes and achieve 19 boundaries. On account of small partnerships, the West Indies could only score a score of 115 by losing four wickets in 30.3 overs. The Indian bowlers continued to take wickets at regular intervals. West Indies could add 42 runs in the last five partnerships.

Kyle Hope (46) and Sai Hope (51) in the top-order and captain Jason Holder (36) and Rowman Powell (31) in the middle order played useful innings for the West Indies.

For India, Shami 4 and Umesh Yadav got three wickets. Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav got one success each. Ravindra Jadeja could not get wickets, but he gave only 27 runs in 10 overs including a Maiden and tied the Caribbean bowlers in his entire bowling spell. Kuldeep Yadav also bowled and conceded just 36 runs.

India to take on West Indies in 5th ODI

After trailing 2-1 in the five ODI matches’ series, Windies have kept its hopes alive by winning this match. If the team wins the match being played today, it will be able to draw the series.
On the other hand, India having upper hand in this match, can make this series in its name by toiling little less than the opponent team.

What happened in the last matches?
The first match was canceled due to rain. After that India took a lead by winning two consecutive matches. But, due to the shocking defeat in the fourth onedayer, it has to wait for the fifth and the final match. Both teams were bowling well in the last match. India had first stopped at 189 runs the Windies, but its batsmen failed to achieve this goal and the team got out on 178 runs.

Top Batsmen flopped

The big concern for both teams in this sense is batting. Batsman Shikhar Dhawan, who has scored the most runs in the Champions Trophy, has not been able to do anything special in this series. In the last match they will expect the team to score runs. At the same time Captain Virat Kohli also failed in the last match with the bat. Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya have been performing well at the end, but both of them also failed in the last match. In such a situation, the team would want to manage the batsmen, who failed in the last match, do well in the last match.

All eyes on Rahane and Dhoni
Two players have performed well with the bat for India in this series. Opener Ajinkya Rahane has crossed 50 per match and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored one half-century. But in the last match both of them had played very slow innings. India's biggest concern is to make a fast run in this series.

Kartik also flopped at Yuvraj's place
India gave a chance to Dinesh Karthik by resting Yuvraj Singh in the last match, but he too could not live up to the expectations.
In the last match, it has to be seen whether Yuvraj makes a comeback or not. If the team management does not consider Yuvraj, then instead of Karthik, the young Rishabh Pant may find a place in the team. Pant has the best ability to play fast. This young batsman also specializes in playing big shots.

Wondered by the Windies
The West Indies were surprised by their performance in the last match. Captain Jason Holder had received the award for his victory. They did not allow the Indian batsmen to reach the target by taking five wickets. Apart from bowling, Alzari Joseph, Ashwell Nurse, Devendra Bishoo, who performed well in the last match. In the last match, the captain had put Miguel Cummins out. Since this match is important then the team can return to the final eleven.

Teams (Probables ):

India: Virat Kohli (captain), Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan, Risb Pant, Ajinkya Rahane, Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, hearty Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav and Dinesh Karthik .

West Indies: Jason Holder (captain), Devendra Bishoo, Jonathan Carter, Roston Chase, Miguel Cummins, Shai Hope (wicketkeeper), Aljari Joseph, Avin Louis, Jason Mohammed, Ashwell nurse, Karen Powell, Rovman Powell, Kesrik Williams.

Lalu appeals the opposition parties to unite against BJP, but no mention of JD(U) of Nitish

Patna: Lalu addressed the workers in the program organized on the 21st year of inauguration day of RJD. Taking this opportunity, RJD supremo Lalu Yadav appealed to leaders of similar ideology and parties to come together against BJP. He took the name of many leaders, but did not take the name of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the Bihar government. Discussions have begun in this matter of political circles in Bihar. Some people consider it the end of the coalition. Significantly, BJP leader Sushil Modi had recently said that the JDU and the RJD alliance would be broken soon.

Laloo Yadav is scheduled to hold a mega rally in Patna on 27th August. He said, "If Mayawati and Akhilesh become able to mend their ways, then the BJP’s " game will over". There is a complete possibility that both will be available in the next election." He said, "Whatever Mayawati, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamta, Priyanka Gandhi, or for that matter Robert Vadra, BJP is trying to break, as the party known that if all become one, it will be finished in the next parliamentary election.

On the other hand, senior BJP leader Sushil Modi in Delhi said, "Nitish Kumar does not have a match with Lalu Yadav as he was with BJP." He said, "Anything in politics cannot be predicted, but in my opinion the coalition is on the verge of breaking. It will not last five years. "

He also said, "Nitish Kumar is a big leader, it is very difficult to say anything in his next step, on one hand he supports our presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind, on the other hand he is silent on Lalu's case. Only he can tell what is going on in his mind. " Modi said, "Whoever opines about Nitish Kumar in a haste, gets wrong by his very next move. So, the style of functioning of Nitish should be watched from close quarters.

After giving support to Nitish Kumar's NDA-backed presidential candidate Ramnath Kovind, everything in the alliance is not doing well in Bihar. Often these fears are getting strengthened that Nitish Kumar is going to BJP's party. Congress and RJD had opposed this move of Nitish Kumar. The leaders of the parties involved in the General elections had openly rhetoric against each other.

Although both Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav are telling the coalition to be as solid and resolute as rock, but given the verbal spat that crop up on and off between the ruling grand alliance, all things do not look bright and beautiful.

Although Nitish Kumar has denied reports about his association with the BJP, he has made it clear that he will not be the PM candidate for the 2019 general election. Nitish Kumar has advised the opposition parties to prepare various schemes to cover the BJP.

China Bullies India on Border Dispute

In an ongoing dispute between India and China on the Sikkim border, China, bypassing any agreement, said on Tuesday that resolving the dispute is dependent on India.

Putting full responsibility on India, China said in a threatening tone that the military option is dependent on India's policy. India has to resolve the dispute.

China's Ambassador Luo Zhaohui clearly said that the ball is now in India's court. India has to think as to which options are there to overcome the deadlock. He said that the Chinese government is clear about resolving the issue peacefully. But, for this, removing India's own army will be the first condition. The Chinese Ambassador answered this on a question about the possibility of war on not resolving the boundary dispute in a proper manner.

Lua Zhaohui said, "The first priority is that the Indian army goes into the Indian border unconditionally. This is the condition before any meaningful conversation between India and China. '
What is the dispute?
This dispute is going on at the reconciliation point of the Indian border in China, Bhutan and Sikkim. China had tried to build roads on the Doka La area, which is coming here in Bhutan. Bhutan expressed objection on this. At the same time, the Indian army and the Chinese army which came to help the Bhutanese army have now come face-to-face. This area is also strategically important for India.

Doka La is the Indian name of this area, which is called Bhutan Dokalam and China claims to be part of its own Dongland area. Between Bhutan and China, there has been negotiations regarding the solution of this region. Bhutan has no diplomatic relations with China and it receives military and diplomatic cooperation from India.

However, China is repeatedly accusing India of violating the border. At the same time, India has been saying that it is dependent on China. This is a case of Bhutan and China and India is just helping Bhutan.

Modi visits Israel, Signals historic shift in Indo-Israel relations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Israel on a three-day visit. He will depart from Delhi to Israel for ten in the morning. He will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel in the last 70 years. During Modi's visit, India will openly keep its relations with Israel in front of the world.

Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Israel

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Israel is going to be historic in many ways. This year 25 years of diplomatic relations between India and Israel are being fulfilled. In these 25 years, Narendra Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to step on Israeli soil.

India recognized Israel for the first time in 1950, but the formal initiation of diplomatic relations between the two countries was initiated by then Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao in 1992. In 2003, Jaswant Singh was the first foreign minister, who traveled to Israel and then President Pranab Mukherjee in 2015 as the president of India. Now, for the first time an Indian Prime Minister is all slated to get the welcome at par with American President.

This year, US President Donald Trump went on a trip to Israel. At that time Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself reached the airport at the reception of the US President. Likewise, when the greatest Christian pope ever goes to Israel, the Israeli Prime Minister is present at the airport for his reception.

Israeli PM to stay at Modi's reception

The same will be welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When they step on the Israeli land, then Benjamin Netanyahu will be present at the airport for his reception. Not only that Netanyahu has given the responsibility of Modi's visit to 11 ministers of his government.

Netanyahu addressed Modi as 'My Friend'

Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his coming to Israel in his Cabinet meeting, calling Modi as "my friend". "My friend, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Israel, this is the historic visit of an Indian Prime Minister in 70 years."

Modi's new start of Indo-Israeli relations

Narendra Modi had earlier gone to Israel in 2006 as Chief Minister of Gujarat. As a party, BJP has always been advocating better relations with Israel. But the relationship between India and Israel has been made by keeping Palestine in mind so far. Israel and Palestine are at draggers drawn. India has been supporting Palestine, that is why India's diplomacy has been in sync with the two countries. So far, any leader who went to Israel from India also went to Palestine, but Modi would also break this tradition.

Former diplomat Anil Trigunyat says, "Now everyone came to know that there is no difference between our relationship with Israel and our support for Palestine and wherever we decide to do any of the international institutions or do so, it will depend on the merit, and not the diplomatic compulsions."

India's ambassador to Israel, Pawan Kapoor, said, "There is a lot going on between these two parts of water, agriculture, science and technology between India and Israel. It is intended to focus on this. "

Israel is the Powerhouse of Technology

Former diplomat Anil Thurguniyat said, "Israel is the powerhouse of technology at the moment, in the highest counter terrorism, cyber security, in water conservation. In all these things, Israel is at the forefront of the world, and our country needs a lot of these things. "

According to experts, there could be a problem for Israel from neighboring Pakistan and China. Modi's visit can be called path breaking, apart from the old Nehruvian policy by sending a message to the whole world that India wants to have good relations with all other countries, but wants to forge better relationship with the United States and its neighbouring countries.

India wants Peaceful solution of Border Dispute with China

Amid the efforts of China's road construction in the Sikkim region, India has warned that China should maintain the status quo and not threaten the innocent because circumstances like 1962 are no longer the situation. This answer from India came after learning to take lessons from China's 1962 war. Defense Minister Arun Jaitley has more or less warned China in this language that there is a difference between the situation in 1962 and today.

In fact, from the geo-strategic point of view, this fragment of important Indian land is being considered as 'Chicken Nek' Is known by the name. China wants to encompass India in this area. Therefore, he is trying to build a road to Sikkim-Bhutan and Tibet's meeting point (Duka La), which India has objection on. This road is being constructed in the Dokalam Plateau of Bhutan.

There is a dispute between China and Bhutan regarding the rights of this region. China calls this region as Donglong and tells its share from ancient times. That is why it keeps sending its army patrols there. Indeed, China's intent is to increase its penetration from the Dokalm to Doka La up to the Magnificent Valley in Tibet, preserved with the construction of this road. This valley is like Hunsi, which separates Sikkim and Bhutan.

In fact, if China builds the road to Doka La, its army will get a strategic edge from the nearest narrow siliguri corridor, which is part of West Bengal, about 50 km away from here. This corridor is allegedly called 'Chicken Neck' and it is the only way to connect India's mainland to the northeast states.

According to defense experts, China's activities in the Chameleon Valley are worrying India. It is a part of the Hansei like map which is located just above the chicken neck of India. India is in a better position right now in the field of geo-strategic importance but China wants to encompass India by reaching the meeting place of these countries, by building roads from Dohlam to Doka La.

JD(U) to skip RJD'S BJP Hatao, Desh Bachao Rally

Disagreements between JD (U) and RJD of ruling coalition partner in Bihar are increasing. JD (U) has distanced itself from RJD’s ‘BJP Hatao, Desh Bachao’( Remove BJP, Save the country) rally.

This rally will be held in Patna on August 27. JD (U) National Secretary General Shyam Rajak said, "This is an RJD rally and JD (U) will not participate in it as a party. If JD (U) chairman and CM Nitish Kumar gets the invitation, then he will decide on his personal capacity to be present. '

This is another example of growing differences between Bihar's great coalition. Earlier, JD (U) had supported NDA Presidential nominee Ramnath Kovind. In addition to these, Nitish had sent his representative in the GST's launch program at Central Hall of Parliament on Friday midnight, while grand alliance partner RJD and Congress boycotted it.

RJD rally aims to unite the opposition against BJP-led NDA in 2019. Senior officials of RJD told that Congress President Sonia Gandhi, CM of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee, CM Naveen Patnaik of Odisha, former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala and former PM HD Deve Gowda could join the rally.

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav recently said that he and BSP chief Mahayavati will participate in this rally. Lalu had reviewed the preparations for the rally by meeting RJD officials and election representatives in Patna on June 5.
