We are Tolerating Nitish to Prevent BJP from Coming to Power: Raghuvansh

Patna: Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Yadav instructed to exercise restraint while giving a statement to the coalition leaders when the verbal war broke out between JDU and RJD, the ruling coalition partner JDU and RJD in the state, to support different candidates for the presidential election. Tejasvi said, the leaders and workers of the main coalition should exercise restraint while giving any statement. RJD chief Lalu Prasad's younger son, Tejashvi said that the alliance is strong like the Himalayas.

He said, till now, JD (U) has not made any outrageous statement against RJD's national president Lalu Prasad. The statement of Tejasvi has come in the wake of allegations of RJD and JDU leaders. Indeed, both parties are supporting different candidates in the ensuing presidential election. JDU has supported former Bihar governor and NDA candidate Ramnath Kovind, while RJD is supporting Congress leader, former speaker of Lok Sabha and opposition candidate Meera Kumar.

RJD sources said that Prasad has asked his party spokesman to remove the illusions in the media between coalition partners on this issue. RJD Senior Leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh has said that Nitish Kumar's decision to support Kovind is a shock and he is trying to to make a nationwide general alliance against Lalu. We are tolerating the party JD(U) and will continue to tolerate him to stop the BJP. Meanwhile, JDU's state chief, Basistha Narayan Singh, expressing displeasure at such a statement said, it was a clear violation of the dignity of the coalition. He said, "I will request Lalu Prasad ji to control such leaders."
