US declares Hizbul Chief a Global Terrorist, US and India will Fight terrorism together

Hours before meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Donald Trump's White House, the US State Department declared Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin a global terrorist. Meanwhile, US Defense Secretary James Matisse and Foreign Minister Rex Tillerson met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the preparations for the summit. India welcomed the decision of US declaring Salahuddin as a global terrorist, saying that this step underscores the threat of terrorism before the two countries. 

The result of the US State Department's decision to declare Salahuddin a global terrorist will be that any American citizen will no longer be able to have any business or business relationship with him and seize all assets of the advisory in the United States or US jurisdiction Will go.

The US State Department said in its statement, "As a senior leader of the Hizbul Mujahideen, Salahuddin, also known as Sayyid Muhammad Yusuf Shah, had vowed in September, 2016 that he was and will  never  be for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue. Let's be. At the same time, he had threatened to subject the Kashmiri to the suicide bombers and transform Kashmir Valley into Indian cemeteries. "It was further said that Hizbul took responsibility for several attacks while being the senior commander of Hizbul Mujahideen of Salahuddin. . It includes an explosion in Jammu and Kashmir in April 2014, in which 17 people were killed.

While announcing Salahuddin as a global terrorist, the State Department said in its notification that it has carried out many terrorist attacks and is in danger that he and terrorists can attack. India has welcomed this decision. State Department spokesman Gopal Bagale said that it underlines the danger of which both countries are facing India and America. Meanwhile, former US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Defense Minister James Matisse met Prime Minister Modi before the summit with Trump. Sources said that in both of these meetings, special talks were discussed on ways to deepen cooperation in the fight against terrorism. 

There were talks on several issues, including strategic and economic cooperation in meeting with Tillerson. The Prime Minister has an important role in the Indo-American partnership on the global level.External affairs ministry spokesman Gopal Bagale said in reference to Modi that the whole world is looking at the partnership. He said that India's desire is to pursue this partnership with India to further this partnership. The prime minister insisted that he wants good relations with all his neighboring countries. Prior to Modi's visit to Washington, Tillerson had said that his visit would strengthen India-US relations and help in furthering the common interests of countering terrorism and encouraging economic development. 

In the meeting with the Prime Minister and US Defense Minister Matisse, the situation of terrorism and Afghanistan was discussed. Tillerson and Matisse met the Prime Minister at Hotel Willard Intercontinental where he stayed. Senior Indian officials including National Security Adviser Ajit Doval were present during the meeting.
