India to Create History in Space

Countdown has started for the launch of GSLV Mark 3. It will be launched from Sriharikota Space Center at 5.28 pm on Monday evening. It will take the rocket communications satellite GSAT-19. GSLV Mk3 is the most heavily rocket in India.

ISRO president SS Kiran Kumar said that this mission is very important because it is the biggest rocket and satellite ever to be released from the country. Kiran Kumar said that ISRO had to rely on foreign launches for communication satellites weighing more than 2300 kgs so far. He told that GSLV is capable of lifting the payload of MK 3-D 4000 kg to GTO and up to 10,000 thousand payloads in the lower orbit of the earth.

With the launch of them, digital India will be strengthened remarkably. Also, Internet services like never before. Center director Tapan Mishra described it as a revolutionary satellite in the field of communication for India. He said that if this launch was successful then the only GSAT-19 satellite would be equivalent to a group of 6-7 communication satellites of the old type set in space. Currently, there are 13 communication satellites out of 41 Indian satellites installed in space orbit.

The weight of GSLV Mk-3 is equivalent to five fully loaded Boeing jumbo aircraft or 200 elephants. According to Tapan Mishra, GSLV MK-3 is the first satellite in the country that is capable of providing fast-speed Internet services using space-based platforms. He told that the country is focusing on developing such capabilities which are important in connecting places far beyond the reach of fiber optic internet.

GSAT-19 is being operated with lithium-ion batteries made in India for the first time. These batteries have been made so that India's self reliance can be enhanced. Additionally, such batteries can be used in electric vehicles like cars and buses. The newest thing in GSAT-19 is that for the first time there will be no transporter on the satellite. Mishra said that even with the new bird of the sky, the word transponder will not be associated with itself. Even for the first time, ISRO is using a completely new method of Multiple Frequency Beam, which will increase Internet speed and connectivity.
