Chief
Minister Mahbuba Mufti met the PM Modi on Monday, amid the worst situation in
Kashmir. After meeting in Delhi, Mehbooba Mufti said that there was talk of alliance
between the state and situation of the state. Mehbooba Mufti said that I told
PM Modi that negotiation at some level is necessary. Mehbooba said that the
solution of Kashmir should be drawn from Vajpayee's policy. He told the Prime
Minister that the Center should seriously consider the welfare of the state.
'The stones pelters are being
provoked'
Mehbooba
Mufti said that Kashmir was harmed by the Indus Water Treaty. PM Modi talked
about considering this. There was talk of PM Modi on the issue of violence.
Mufti said that stone pelters are being provoked. There can be no any talk amid
stone and gun. On the question of governing governance in the state, Mehbooba
said that center should be asked on this.
Mehbooba in favor of starting talks
Mehbooba
Mufti supported the starting of a dialogue in Kashmir. Mehbooba Mehbooba Mufti
said that she appealed to PM Modi that the dialogue should be on the line of
policy formulated by former Prime Minister Mr Vajpayee. It will have to create
an environment ahead.
'Differences will resolve on
coalition'

Question on Coalition
After
meeting PM Modi, there has been a break even on speculation about the alliance
in Kashmir. Mehbooba Mufti said that work will be done to resolve the
differences over the coalition. The decision to impose presidential rule is to
take the center. Meanwhile, BJP has also come to the conclusion that coalition
is working in the right direction in the state.
Highvel
meeting in Delhi
Meanwhile,
there was a high level meeting with the Home Ministry regarding the situation
in Kashmir. Home Minister Rajnath Singh discussed the state situation with the
National Security Advisor, Director IB, Home Secretary, about the situation in
Kashmir.
Appeal to
all the states of PM
Earlier in
the policy commission meeting on Sunday, PM Modi appealed to all state
governments to contact the students of Jammu and Kashmir in their respective
states. Mehbooba Mufti raised this issue at the meeting. After appealing for
Kashmiri students in Meerad, Rajasthan and asking the Kashmiri students to
leave the state in Meerut of Uttar Pradesh, this appeal matters a lot. Modi
supported Mehbooba's suggestion that the states of Jammu and Kashmir students
studying in other states should take care of the interests of the states. Six
local residents of Kashmir were beaten by some local people in Mewar University
of Rajasthan. In Meerut, Kashmiri students were asked to leave Uttar Pradesh by
placing a billboard.
'Central government not serious about
Kashmir'
PDP leaders
in Jammu and Kashmir are troubled by the statements of BJP leaders in the
state, in which they have been giving statements against Kashmir. This is the
reason why Mehbooba Mufti's brother who came to politics for the first time and
PDP candidate from Anantnag Lok Sabha constituency Tasaduk Mufti said in a chat
with a newspaper a few days ago that the central government is not serious about
Kashmir.
More Threats in the Valley
After unrest
for many months in Jammu and Kashmir in 2016, Mehbooba Mufti hoped that in the
year 2017 the condition of Kashmir will improve, but this could not be done. In
Kashmir, colleges have been closed for the last one week and just like last
year, tourism has remained a fade this year.
