been set up in 68 Assembly Constituencies. Special arrangements have been made
for voters who cast their votes for the first time. To encourage new young

Total 2537 Candidates Fielded
An AAP candidate
said that this time 2537 candidates are trying their luck in the MCD election,
the maximum of which is 1004 candidates in North MCD. After this, 985 in South
MCD and 548 candidates in East MCD are in the fray.
Rebellion can Spoil the Game
The Congress
has fielded 271 candidates for 272 seats for the three seats, while the BJP has
267 candidates while the Aam Aadmi Party has given tickets to 272 candidates.
It is not easy for the parties to deal with the rebels in this election. Nearly
50 rebel candidates are in the fray. There are around 100 rebel areas in the
BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party.
The main
contest in the 2012 elections was between the BJP and the Congress. BJP got
huge majority in the elections. Of the 272 seats, BJP got 138 seats and
Congress got 77 seats. The BSP won 15 seats. On the other hand, the contest is
interesting after the arrival of the Aam Aadmi Party and Swaraj Party in this
time of elections.

tampering with EVM-1 being used. He said that EVM machines have also been

in the three MCDs is about 1 crore 34 lakh 23 thousand 783. About 1 lakh
employees will be present at the polling station.
Although
EVMs will reach at 6.30 am in polling stations, voting will be from 8 AM to 5
PM. Many government schools are being used for elections in Delhi. Because of
the Sunday being today, people are expected to reach in more and more numbers
to cast their vote.
