Of the
soldiers killed in Sukma attack, 6 are from Bihar. The bodies of martyred
soldiers were brought to Patna airport. On this occasion, Bihar Chief Minister
or any minister of the government was not present at the airport to pay homage
to the martyrs. The martyrs were given a guard of honor at the airport. But
there was no one to pay tribute to the soldiers of the country on behalf of the
government. Only JD U’s MLA Shyam Rajak was present on this occasion.
BJP leader
and Union Minister Ramkripal Yadav was present at the airport. On this
occasion, Ramkripal Yadav paid homage to the martyrs and expressed his anger against
the CM Nitish Kumar for not being able to reach the spot on this inauspicious
occasion. Ramkrupal Yadav said, 'This is an unfortunate situation. I am waiting
for two hours here and the Chief Minister is next to his house. They could have
come here, but the information that I have received, the CM is watching film
Gandhi with his ministers in a hall. He and his ministers are really too busy
to come here to pay their homage to the martyrs.
CM Nitish
Kumar however did not give any statement directly to Ramkripal's charge but
according to a news website, in the eighth installation day program of Bihar
State Road Development Corporation Limited, the Chief Minister said that the
regional imbalance is the stumbling block for the development of the country.
The Chief Minister however apologized for being late by an hour in the program. He said
that he was watching a movie made on Gandhi and it was such a movie that I
could not left in the middle.
